#### Raydon to Hadleigh (0-8 km / 0-5 miles) The first section of the trail takes you from Raydon to the historic market town of Hadleigh. This stretch is relatively flat and easy, making it a good warm-up. Hadleigh is rich in history, with landmarks such as St. Mary's Church and the Deanery Tower, both dating back to the medieval period.
#### Hadleigh to Kersey (8-16 km / 5-10 miles) Leaving Hadleigh, the trail continues towards the village of Kersey. This section involves a gentle ascent, offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Kersey is one of Suffolk's most picturesque villages, featuring a ford and a collection of well-preserved medieval buildings.
#### Kersey to Boxford (16-24 km / 10-15 miles) From Kersey, the trail heads towards Boxford, another historic village. This part of the trail is more challenging, with a few steeper inclines. Boxford is known for its timber-framed houses and the 15th-century St. Mary's Church. The village also has a couple of pubs where you can take a well-deserved break.
#### Boxford to Sudbury (24-32 km / 15-20 miles) The final stretch takes you from Boxford to Sudbury. This section is a mix of rolling hills and flat terrain, making it a bit easier after the previous climbs. Sudbury is a historic market town with a rich cultural heritage. Notable landmarks include Gainsborough's House, the birthplace of the famous painter Thomas Gainsborough, and the beautiful St. Gregory's Church.
