The trailhead is conveniently located near the main entrance of Blenheim Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill.
#### Blenheim Palace At the start of your hike, you'll be greeted by the grandeur of Blenheim Palace. This 18th-century baroque masterpiece is not only architecturally stunning but also steeped in history. Take a moment to admire the palace's façade and the meticulously maintained gardens before you begin your journey.
#### The Grand Bridge and Lake About 1 km (0.6 miles) into the hike, you'll come across the Grand Bridge, designed by Sir John Vanbrugh. This impressive structure spans the lake and offers breathtaking views of the palace and its surrounding parkland. The lake itself is a haven for birdwatchers, with species such as swans, ducks, and herons frequently spotted.
