#### Fairwarp to Duddleswell The initial section of the trail takes you through ancient woodlands and open fields. Keep an eye out for the diverse flora and fauna, including bluebells in the spring and various bird species year-round. After about 2 km (1.2 miles), you'll reach the Ashdown Forest, a significant landmark known for its historical and literary connections. This forest inspired A.A. Milne's "Winnie-the-Pooh" stories, and you might even spot some familiar locations from the tales.
#### Duddleswell Around the 4 km (2.5 miles) mark, you'll arrive at Duddleswell, a small hamlet with a rich history.
