Not the most dramatic of trails. However it does have its own charms. A stop at the Seaways cafe is a must.

Lovely countryside, not many shops or pubs on the route, wild camped one night, 3 nights camping on farms £5-10 a night. Nice bakery in Sherburn, worth the short detour off the trail. Also at Sherburn there is a maze and fairground with toilets and cafe right on the trail, with signs inviting YWW hikers to make use if them.

A real hidden gem , if you want a trail to yourself? this is the one but be aware water sources are pretty few and far between

Really pretty trail and lovely to finish at Filey Brig when going Northbound. There is quite an aggressive camber towards the left the whole way when going in this direction which played havoc with feet/ knees which knocked off some stars. There was very limited choice with campgrounds along the route especially between Hessle and Goodmanham which was disappointing for a National Trail. Overall really enjoyed the hike though.

Wonderful walk. Some of the best countryside the UK has to offer. Lovely green rolling hills. Loved this one.
