From Frisco, you can take a short taxi ride to the trailhead.### Trail OverviewThe trail begins with a gentle ascent through a dense forest of lodgepole pines and aspens. Early in the hike, you'll cross several small streams, which can be more challenging to navigate during the spring melt. After about 3 km (1.9 miles), the trail starts to climb more steeply, offering your first glimpses of the Gore Range's rugged peaks.### Significant LandmarksAt around the 5 km (3.1 miles) mark, you'll reach Lost Lake Reservoir. This serene body of water is a perfect spot for a short break. The reservoir is surrounded by wildflowers in the summer months, including columbines and Indian paintbrush.
