Starting your journey near Teton County, Wyoming, the Boundary Creek Trailhead is your gateway to the Dunanda Falls and Silver Scarf Falls hike. This out-and-back trail spans approximately 27 kilometers (around 17 miles) with an elevation gain of about 200 meters (656 feet), making it a moderately challenging adventure suitable for hikers with some experience.
Continuing on, around the 13-kilometer (8-mile) mark, you’ll reach the junction where the trail splits towards Dunanda Falls and Silver Scarf Falls. Both falls are spectacular, but Dunanda Falls is particularly noteworthy for its height and the misty spray that creates rainbows on sunny days. The falls are about 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) from the trailhead, making them a perfect spot for a lunch break.
