#### Sunset Point Overlook Continuing along the loop, at around the 2.5 km (1.5 miles) mark, you'll reach Sunset Point Overlook. As the name suggests, this spot is ideal for witnessing the sun dip below the horizon, casting a warm, golden glow over the rugged terrain. The overlook provides expansive views of the Waterpocket Fold, a nearly 100-mile long warp in the Earth's crust that is a defining feature of Capitol Reef National Park. The colors and shadows that play across the landscape during sunset are truly mesmerizing.
