From there, head southeast on UT-12 E for about 5 miles (8 km) before turning onto Hole-in-the-Rock Road. Continue for approximately 36 miles (58 km) until you reach the trailhead. Public transport options are limited in this remote area, so driving is the most practical way to get there.

### Trail Overview The trail begins with a descent into Willow Gulch, a scenic canyon characterized by its red rock walls and lush vegetation. As you make your way down, you'll encounter a series of switchbacks that help manage the elevation change. The initial descent is about 1.5 km (0.9 miles) long and drops roughly 150 meters (492 feet).

### Significant Landmarks One of the first notable landmarks you'll encounter is a small, perennial stream that runs through the gulch.
