Ben Nevis - Carn Dearg - Ledge Route Loop's difficulty-level is 'Moderate' that is a combination of hiking and climbing. The ascent of 1300 meters begins from 5.8km and continues on to 6.8km and also has to scramble. It is one of the best Winter Grade ll on Ben Nevis, and of the most popular climbs of its grade. In this trail the conditions might feel soft and it often gets sports passage on the ice in the lower half and exposed to mixed climbing above. The Point 5 Gully holds a lot of snow and has a habit of avalanching, so proceed this trail with caution.
