Tikitapu and Rotokakahi Lake Loop

The Tikitapu and Rotokakahi Lake Loops is a 9 mi looped trail that starts and ends in Rotorua, New Zealand. The trail is considered to be difficult to hike and has a total elevation gain of 2919 ft. The trail takes around 4 hrs 21 mins. Either you are not allowed to bring your dog on the Tikitapu and Rotokakahi Lake Loops or it is generally not advised. The warmest months are December, January, and February and the coldest months are June, July, and August.
