The Lake Toolooma Trail is a wild and beautiful 2 mi out-and-back trail that starts and ends in the small suburb of Waterfall in the Heathcote National Park in New South Wales, Australia. Parking can be found on Warabin Street or at the Heathcote Train Station. Tranquillity and an accessible escape to nature; don’t forget your binoculars for this trail. A peaceful and secluded walking trail, it’s graded as Medium difficulty and is usually completed in 1 – 2 hours, taking walkers on fire track and management trail through bushland with some challenging steep sections to reach an isolated dam rewarding your efforts with beautiful views and the opportunity for some fantastic wildlife and bird watching.
