#### Litlington to Exceat The initial section from Litlington to Exceat is approximately 8 km (5 miles) and involves a gradual ascent of about 100 meters (328 feet). As you leave Litlington, you'll pass through Friston Forest, a dense woodland area teeming with wildlife such as deer and various bird species. Keep an eye out for the diverse flora, including bluebells in the spring.
#### Exceat to Alfriston From Exceat, the trail continues for another 10 km (6.2 miles) towards Alfriston. This section includes a mix of flat and hilly terrain, with an elevation gain of around 150 meters (492 feet).
