Ben Lomond National Park is located in Tasmania, Australia, approximately 160 kilometers north of Hobart. Nearby towns include Launceston, Scottsdale, and St. Helens. Established in 1946, Ben Lomond National Park is one of Tasmania's oldest protected areas. It was initially set aside to protect the unique alpine flora and fauna of the Ben Lomond Plateau. Over the years, the park has grown in size and importance as a conservation area. Parking is available at several locations within the park, including the summit car park, the Ben Lomond Visitor Centre, and various trailheads.
