Bongil Bongil National Park is situated on the mid-north coast of New South Wales, Australia, approximately 15 kilometers southwest of the town of Coffs Harbour. The park extends from the coastal fringe inland, covering an area of around 6,800 hectares. Established in 1980, Bongil Bongil National Park was created to preserve a diverse range of ecosystems, including coastal rainforests, wetlands, and heathlands. The park is located within the traditional lands of the Gumbaynggirr people, who have a deep cultural connection to the region.
